Architectural photography is all about capturing buildings, structures or architectural details in a visually striking way. The choice of perspective, the composition of lines and the lighting all play a crucial role in this. Architectural photography can be produced in both colour and black and white, and often thrives on clear forms, structures and symmetries. Another key aspect is correcting converging lines to achieve a harmonious and professional visual effect. Fine art photography combines elements from various photographic styles, with the focus on an artistic and expressive representation. I prefer a minimalist approach, which often lies in the low-key range with very dark moods or in the high-key range with particularly bright and pared-back subjects. This often results in a combination of both styles, creating visual worlds that are both high-contrast and serene. The finished image deliberately straddles the line between photography and art and is intended not merely to document, but to convey emotions and atmosphere In der Architekturfotografie geht es darum, Gebäude, Bauwerke oder architektonische Details fotografisch wirkungsvoll in Szene zu setzen. Dabei spielen die Wahl der Perspektive, die Linienführung sowie das Licht eine entscheidende Rolle. Architekturfotografie kann sowohl in Farbe als auch in Schwarzweiß umgesetzt werden und lebt häufig von klaren Formen, Strukturen und Symmetrien. Ein wichtiger Bestandteil ist zudem das Begradigen stürzender Linien, um eine harmonische und professionelle Bildwirkung zu erzielen. Die Fine-Art-Fotografie verbindet Elemente verschiedener fotografischer Stilrichtungen, wobei der Fokus auf einer künstlerischen und ausdrucksstarken Darstellung liegt. Ich bevorzuge dabei einen minimalistischen Ansatz, der sich häufig im Low-Key-Bereich mit sehr dunklen Bildstimmungen oder im High-Key-Bereich mit besonders hellen und reduzierten Motiven bewegt. Oft entsteht dabei eine Kombination aus beiden Stilrichtungen, wodurch kontrastreiche und zugleich ruhige Bildwelten geschaffen werden. Das fertige Bild bewegt sich dabei bewusst zwischen Fotografie und Kunst und soll nicht nur dokumentieren, sondern Emotionen und Atmosphäre transportieren.
